I’m your neighbor, your family, your friend. Born and raised in the Bronx, my name is James Washington-Ward, and I am a Mentor, a Chaplin, District Leader of Assembly District 83 in the Bronx. I am now honored to announce my candidacy for New York City Council District 12 in the Bronx. I come with an understanding of our community and proven leadership.

If elected, I am committed to addressing pressing issues, issues that have been pushed aside, electing the right people for the right job, Creating Legislation that benefits the City as a whole.
