I’m proud to be running for New York City Council representing District 12 in the Bronx. I was born and raised in The Bronx & Harlem, New York, where I first learned the value of hard work, community, and service. I attended Samuel Gompers High School, where I took up Desktop Publishing. Then, I went on to study at Northampton Community College, where I studied Early Childhood Education. Later, I attended Community College of Philadelphia, where I studied Behavioral Science and Photography. My journey of service began early, as a youth in the Star of the Sea Cadets program—a program modeled after the Navy and Marine Corps that taught me discipline, leadership, loyalty, teamwork, and a lifelong commitment to giving back. During my time working at Kips Bay Boys and Girls Club at Site CS 102, I discovered my passion for community engagement and helping others.

I started my family in Pennsylvania, where I also began my spiritual journey. That path has guided me ever since and strengthened when I returned to New York, where I found a home as a Methodist in New Rochelle. Today, I proudly serve as a chaplain with the Chaplain Workers Federation. I’ve continued my involvement with the Sea Cadets, where I rose to the rank of Lieutenant and now return regularly as a mentor to help shape the next generation of leaders. One pivotal moment in my journey was meeting Gonzalo Duran, CEO of Devil Dog USA Inc., a nonprofit veterans’ organization. I joined as a photographer and eventually became President of Media and Documentary, telling stories that matter and advocating for those who have served.

After dedicating ten years of my career to Best Buy as a Deployment Project Supervisor, I knew it was time to return to where my heart has always been—serving my community. That’s why I’m running for City Council. I bring with me decades of lived experience, leadership, faith, and a proven record of putting others first. District 12 deserves a representative who listens, who shows up, and who leads with integrity. I’m ready to be that leader
